HUBUNGAN ANTARA TINGKAT PARTISIPASI LANJUT USIA DALAM KEGIATAN POSYANDU LANSIA DENGAN PERILAKU KESEHATAN DI DESA LEMBERANG, KECAMATAN SOKARAJA, KABUPATEN BANYUMAS

The elderly people are part of the family and community members who are growing in number a long with the increase in life expectancy. With increasing life expectancy certainly have consequences on the increased need for services for the elderly and the community health center have to take responsibility to provide the service for them. A target of the elderly posyandu is age virilitass / pre-senile 45 to 59 years, 60 to 69 years older, and older age are more risk than 70 years. Through active participation in the activities of elderly posyandu, they have good health behaviors.

This study uses descriptive correlative with cross sectional approach. The population was elderly aged 60 years and over who are targets elderly in the village posyandu Lemberang Banyumas as many as 59 people. Total sampling method was used in this study due to a small number of 15 people as respondents.  Data analysis was used to describe the age, sex, level of education and participation of the elderly using frequency distributions. Meanwhile, to determine the relationship between independent variables and the dependent variable used the Spearman correlation test. Therefore, the p-value ? 0.05, so Ha is received, it is indicating a significant relationship between elderly participation in growth monitoring sessions with health behaviors.

The results of this study show that there is a significant relationship between participation in activities posyandu elderly with their health behaviors, it is seen from the test results obtained by Spearman correlation of 0.086 and significance value is 0.000.
